Maven Drive Academy Policies

Lesson Booking

  • Lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to instructor availability.
  • Block bookings are available and should be scheduled in agreement with the instructor.

Payment Policy

  • Payment is required before or at the start of each lesson unless otherwise agreed.
  • Block booking payments must be made in advance.
  • Prices may change, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed rate.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
  • Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
  • If the instructor needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Late Arrival

  • If a student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.
  • If the instructor is delayed, the lost time will be added to the lesson or rearranged.

Driving Test Policy

  • Use of the instructor’s vehicle for the practical driving test is at the instructor’s discretion.
  • Students must demonstrate a safe driving standard before the instructor’s vehicle can be used for the test.
  • Test-day bookings include a warm-up lesson before the test where applicable.

Student Responsibilities

  • Students must carry a valid UK provisional or full driving licence during lessons.
  • Students must inform the instructor of any medical conditions, eyesight issues, or changes that may affect their ability to drive.
  • Students must not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Safety

  • The instructor reserves the right to end a lesson if the student’s behaviour compromises safety.
  • No refunds will be given for lessons ended due to unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds for unused prepaid lessons may be considered at the academy’s discretion.
  • Completed lessons are non-refundable.

Privacy

  • Personal information is used only for lesson bookings, communication, and driving instruction, and is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
